Our Team

Dan Phillips, CPA, MBA

Transparent, honest, sincere. These are the words that clients have used when working with Dan. He returned to public accounting in October 2006 by purchasing an existing accounting firm that has been at this location since 1986.

Throughout his accounting career in the public and private sectors, Dan had the opportunity to work with the owners and executive management of small and large companies. His experience, combined with his CPA license and MBA from the University of Notre Dame, puts Dan in a unique position to understand the concerns and challenges of business owners.

Laurie Gonser

Laurie has an infectious smile and wonderful personality. An Elkhart native, Laurie leaves a lasting positive first impression. From answering the phones, to greeting clients and making them feel welcome, it is apparent that our firm is special. As our office manager, Laurie keeps us organized and ready to meet the most basic to the most complex needs of our clients.

Laurie graduated from Indiana University and has been with our team since January 2008.

Annie Jurek, EA

Strong work ethic and a sincere concern for the well-being of her clients is what keeps them coming back. As an Enrolled Agent, Annie has been a member of our team since June 2009.  Annie brings to our clients over 38 years of tax preparation and accounting experience.

Cathy Fleming

Cathy’s friendly demeanor and upbeat attitude is an asset to our office. As a member of our team since February 2011, Cathy brings to our clients over 20 years of experience preparing tax returns. In addition to tax preparation, Cathy has held Controllership positions at various companies.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix.
